Overview

YourParkNow LLC operates a peer-to-peer parking marketplace. This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains when refunds are available, how cancellations work, and the responsibilities of both Hosts and Guests.

Cancellation by Guest

Guests may cancel a reservation through the YourParkNow app at any time before the reservation start. The refund amount is calculated based on the schedule above, measured from the time the cancellation is submitted to the reservation start time.

Cancellation by Host

If a Host cancels a confirmed reservation, the Guest receives a 100% refund of all amounts paid, including service fees. Hosts who repeatedly cancel may have their accounts suspended or terminated. YourParkNow may also charge cancellation penalties to repeat-offender Hosts.

Guest No-Show

If the Guest does not arrive within 30 minutes of the reservation start time and does not contact the Host through the app, the reservation is forfeited with no refund. The Host may release the spot to other users at that point.

Host No-Show or Inaccessible Spot

If the parking spot is unavailable, blocked, occupied by another vehicle, or significantly different from the listing description, the Guest must:

Service Disputes

YourParkNow encourages Hosts and Guests to resolve disputes directly through the app's messaging system. If unresolved, either party may submit a formal dispute. YourParkNow will review evidence (photos, messages, GPS data, timestamps) and issue a decision within 7 business days. YourParkNow's decision is final and binding.

Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed within 3-5 business days back to the original payment method. Your bank may take additional time (typically 5-10 business days total) for the refund to appear in your account.

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure beyond the control of either party (severe weather such as hurricanes, natural disasters, government orders, civil unrest, pandemic-related restrictions, etc.), YourParkNow may issue full refunds at its sole discretion regardless of the standard cancellation policy.

Chargebacks

Important: Guests are strongly encouraged to contact YourParkNow support at support@yourparknow.com before initiating a chargeback with their bank or credit card issuer. Most disputes can be resolved quickly through our support team.

Unwarranted chargebacks (where the Guest received the service but disputes the charge anyway) may result in:

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or cancellation:

  1. Open the YourParkNow app.
  2. Go to "My Reservations" and select the reservation.
  3. Tap "Cancel Reservation" or "Report Issue."
  4. Provide reason and supporting evidence (photos if applicable).
  5. Submit. You will receive confirmation within 24 hours.

Cancelación por el Huésped

Los Huéspedes pueden cancelar una reservación a través de la app de YourParkNow en cualquier momento antes del inicio. El monto del reembolso se calcula según el esquema anterior.

Cancelación por el Anfitrión

Si un Anfitrión cancela una reservación confirmada, el Huésped recibe un reembolso del 100% de todos los montos pagados, incluyendo tarifas de servicio. Los Anfitriones que cancelan repetidamente pueden tener sus cuentas suspendidas o terminadas.

Huésped que no se Presenta

Si el Huésped no llega dentro de 30 minutos del inicio de la reservación y no contacta al Anfitrión a través de la app, la reservación se pierde sin reembolso. El Anfitrión puede liberar el espacio.

Anfitrión que no se Presenta o Espacio Inaccesible

Si el espacio no está disponible, está bloqueado, ocupado por otro vehículo, o es significativamente diferente a la descripción, el Huésped debe:

Disputas de Servicio

YourParkNow alienta a Anfitriones y Huéspedes a resolver disputas directamente a través del sistema de mensajería de la app. Si no se resuelve, cualquiera puede enviar una disputa formal. YourParkNow revisará la evidencia y emitirá decisión dentro de 7 días hábiles. La decisión de YourParkNow es final y vinculante.

Tiempo de Procesamiento

Los reembolsos aprobados se procesan dentro de 3-5 días hábiles al método de pago original. Su banco puede tomar tiempo adicional (típicamente 5-10 días hábiles total).

Fuerza Mayor

En casos de fuerza mayor (huracanes, desastres naturales, órdenes gubernamentales, disturbios civiles, restricciones de pandemia, etc.), YourParkNow puede emitir reembolsos completos a su discreción sin importar la política estándar.

Importante: Los Huéspedes deben contactar al soporte de YourParkNow antes de iniciar un contracargo con su banco. La mayoría de disputas se resuelven rápidamente.

  1. Abra la app de YourParkNow.
  2. Vaya a "Mis Reservaciones" y seleccione la reservación.
  3. Toque "Cancelar Reservación" o "Reportar Problema."

  5. Envíe. Recibirá confirmación dentro de 24 horas.
